Galatians 3:1

By Faith, or by Works of the Law?

1O foolish Galatians! Who has bewitched you? hIt was before your eyes that Jesus Christ was publicly iportrayed as crucified.

Galatians 5:1-8

Christ Has Set Us Free

1For jfreedom Christ has kset us free; lstand firm therefore, and do not submit again to ma yoke of nslavery.

2Look: I, Paul, say to you that oif you accept circumcision, pChrist will be of no advantage to you. 3I testify again to every man who accepts circumcision that qhe is obligated to keep the whole law. 4You are rsevered from Christ, syou who would be justified
Or counted righteous
by the law; uyou have fallen away from grace.
5For through the Spirit, by faith, we ourselves eagerly vwait for the hope of righteousness. 6For in Christ Jesus wneither circumcision nor uncircumcision counts for anything, but xonly faith working through love.

7 yYou were running well. Who hindered you from obeying zthe truth? 8This persuasion is not from aahim who calls you.
